What is the material you print on?
The material we print on is a 7.5ml “special plastic” that is waterproof and will not run when water gets on it.

How thick is the clear plastic?

The clear plastic is 30ml and is resistant to the harsh abrasives of cleaner solvents.

What do you mean by two-part system?
The two-part system is a system where the ID card is printed separately and then a clear plastic is placed over the printed piece.

What are the benefits of using the two-part system?
The benefits to using the two-part system are: COST, if someone vandalizes or uses graffiti on the outer housing you can change out the clear plastic and not have to change the entire card, just the outer plastic. This greatly reduces cost for the PSP. Other printing companies use the one part system, so if the card is damaged, the PSP would have to change out the entire card instead of just the outer plastic.

What is a duplicate card?
A duplicate card is the same card, also known as a double.

What is the cost for a duplicate card?
The cost for a duplicate is $1.00.

What does a Pre-Addressed upper card mean?
A pre-addressed id card is a card that has the ANI and site location address printed on it.

How much does a “set” cost?
We do not produce ID cards in "sets" like the standard printer. This is due to the fact that some PSPs prefer to order an ID card if they need it for the upper housing or they might need it for the lower housing only. The PSP can order an upper, lower, or both whichever they choose.
